Supplies (200–299) are goods or products you sell, manufacture or deliver.

Examples: agricultural products (200), printed matter (201), medical supplies (202), electrical/ICT supplies (203), food (207), transport equipment (208), general supplies (211), manufacturers (212–213), petroleum (214), gases (216), media supplies (217).

Worked example

A 100% citizen general supplier takes four subcodes under 211 (stationery, furniture, toiletry, hardware):

  • Application P200 + 4 × P300 = P1,400 initial
  • Annual subscription P200 on anniversary
  • Youth path example: P200 + 4 × P150 = P800 initial

Supply versus service

The correct category depends on what the client is buying:

  • Designing an advertising campaign → service (e.g. 138/02)
  • Supplying finished printed brochures → supply (e.g. 201)
  • Selling cameras and ICT equipment → supply (e.g. 203)
  • Providing photography as a service → service (e.g. 139/09)

Suppliers generally need an appropriate trade licence. Regulated goods (medical, fuel, chemicals, etc.) can need more.
